As part of the Darülaceze Academy in-service training program, our staff received training on 'Communication with Alzheimer’s and Dementia Patients'.
Within the scope of the Darülaceze Academy training program, a session titled “Communication with Alzheimer’s and Dementia Patients” was organized for our staff. The training was conducted at our Darülirfan Meeting Hall with the valuable contributions of Haliç University Lecturer Filiz Oben Bayraktar.
To enhance the quality of services we provide to our residents and strengthen our institutional competencies, the training focused on the principles of correct, effective, and human-centered communication with individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Approaches tailored to patients’ cognitive needs and empathy-based communication strategies were shared during the seminar, which was completed with the active participation of our staff.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Ms. Filiz Oben Bayraktar for her valuable insights and to all our staff members who took part in the training, contributing to the improvement of our communication with individuals living with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
