Who can apply?
To be eligible for admission, the applicant is expected to meet the following conditions:
- The individual receiving the service must be 55 years of age or older
- The applicant must not currently have alcohol and/or substance addiction
- The applicant must not have a contagious disease that would prevent them from staying in communal living spaces
- The applicant must not have a mental or psychological disorder that would prevent them from staying in communal living spaces and/or create a negative situation for other service users in the provision of nursing home and elderly care services.

Exceptional Admission Forms
The admission of individuals under the age of fifty-five (55) to the institution in compulsory cases is made upon the proposal of the institution and the approval of the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, based on the social investigation report to be prepared. If deemed appropriate as a result of the evaluation made by the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, the individual is admitted to the institution.
