A Space Where Solidarity and Social Connection Exist

Darülaceze is an institution that integrates with society and keeps the culture of solidarity alive. Our Arnavutköy and Okmeydanı campuses receive visitors within a specific set of rules and plans; and we place great importance on volunteer support.

Individual Visit Application

  • Individual visits can be made on the days and within the time slots determined by the institution.
  • Visitors may meet with residents and observe the social areas.
  • Children’s units and special care areas are subject to visitation restrictions.
  • First-time visitors are required to complete a brief information form.

Corporate Visit and Event Requests

  • Applications for group visits or social events planned by schools, universities, NGOs, and companies
  • Preliminary planning is required for organizations such as workshops, concerts, talks, and book/toy donations.
  • All institutional visits are evaluated jointly by the social services unit and the institution's management.
The residents of Darülaceze are elderly individuals with delicate health conditions who often require emotional support. To ensure your visit is safe, meaningful, and based on mutual respect, we kindly request that you observe the following rules:

Visiting Days and Hours

Okmeydanı Campus
  • Tuesday – Sunday
  • Visiting Hours: 10:00 - 12:00 / 14:00 - 16:00
  • No visits are allowed on Mondays and public holidays.
Arnavutköy Campus
  • Individual visits by appointment on Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • Visiting Hours: 11:00 - 13:00
  • Corporate visits and event days: Fridays (prior approval is required)
Respect and Privacy
  • Residents’ private living areas must not be entered without permission
  • Photography and video recording are permitted only with authorization
  • Respect must be shown for each individual’s personal boundaries
Code of Conduct
  • Loud noises, sudden movements, or intrusive behavior should be avoided
  • Actions that may disrupt the institution’s order should be avoided
Bringing Gifts and Food
  • Only appropriate gifts may be brought with the approval of social services
  • Bringing food, medication, items, etc. without prior approval is not permitted

VISITOR APPOINTMENT FORM

Individual visitors and groups of up to 5 people wishing to visit the Darülaceze Okmeydanı historical campus or the Arnavutköy Darülaceze Social Life City can visit our campuses every day of the week except Monday, between 10:00 – 11:30 and 13:00 – 16:30. For group visits with 6 or more participants, please fill out the form below.

Important Notes

  • After applications, the relevant departments will contact you to make a detailed plan.
  • Visits should be conducted in accordance with institutional values, residents' privacy, and psychosocial situations.
  • Volunteer activities are carried out under the guidance of social service professionals.
  • The responsibility of each visitor and volunteer is part of the institutional culture.

  • Darülaceze takes utmost care to protect personal data in all visitor and volunteer applications.
    Information contained in application forms is stored only for communication and planning purposes, in accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data.
